Why does Oracle not permit the use of PCTUSED with indexes?

I will appreciate reply for my question...

Note:-I do have access to metalink and oracle documentation

Actually some one asked me that in interview ... Very Happy

I said user are not inserting in index Very Happy ... its upto oracle to manage size of leaf block.

I don't know i am right or wrong...

The good answer to this question in interview is to explain what PCTUSED means and does, then how an index works and so you will show it is meaningless for an index.
