Hi all,

Database:Oracle 9i
Platform:Window

I was making a clone database(aux1) of my PROD_DB using RMAN.

but when i want to connect my aux1 database,it give me error like:

set oracle_sid=aux1
sqlplus /nolog
connect / as sysdba

ORA-24314 service handle not initialized

What Exactly it means.

Thanks in advance
Roshan.

Metalink (https://metalink.oracle.com/) is the site for support on Oracle. It contains many notes among them those I mentioned.

Who say that?
He just said he didn't know it but maybe he has access (via his DBA) and as he didn't say a word since 7 days I tend to think that his problem is solved.

Michel
