Hi@all,
i just wanted to know if i need to have a downtime while changing a table to have row movement enabled with the statement.

alter table TABLE enable row movement


i have read, that i have to recompile all dependent packages.

so are there any things i have to know?

You don't have to, they will be automatically recompiled at next call.

i know about working with rowid's would not be possible after the change. this doesn't matter for me.

The most interesting point for me is, do need to have an downtime for this change?

No downtime, it is just an update in dictionary (well strictly speaking table is not updatable during 1 ro 2 milliseconds).
