Hi,

I have one database version 9.2.0.8 on windows. I am not able to login by using the OS authentication. The below steps I followed for the same.

1. Rename the password file as old_PWDTEST.ora
2. Change the remote_login_passwordfile=none
3. set ORACLE_SID=TEST
4. sqlplus "/nolog"
5. connect / as sysdba
Then oracle giving the error
ORA-01031 insufficient privilege.

Please help.
