I create the database with CREATE DATABASE statement, but something is wrong, the datafiles have created, but there is a error, and the database can not be startup with mount:
ORA-01079 ORACLE database was not properly created, operation aborted.

in the responceFile, I have set the ORACLE_HOME_NAME, but didnot set some parameter for ORACLE_BASE, so I don't know where the alert file alert.log is.
can you tell me what wrong with my creation or where the alert.log is?
thank you.

This is wrong, the parameter is ORACLE_HOME.

find / -name 'alert*ora' -print

thanks michel.
ORACLE_HOME_NAME is for the name of oracle_home, I confuse them.
Now I find the alert.log, in the alert.log, I find something like this:
Completed: CREATE TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMPTS1 TEMPFILE '/u01/oracle/oradata_silence/temp01.dbf'
      SIZE 20M REUSE

One of the file you declare in CREATE DATABASE statement.
Search line 6262 of ?/rdbms/admin/sql.bsq', I think could be related to "CREATE TABLESPACE TBS_1 DATAFILE SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT MANUAL". Maybe the default tablespace. Post your CREATE DATABASE statement.

I copy the CREATE STATEMENT from the Oracle's Document, so I just edit the db_name and the tablespace name, and did not check the others statement. in their document, the statement DEFAULT TABLESAPCE ... is following the statement DATAFILE...
it's so obvious. now I created the database successfully.
thank you, Michel, you're so kinkly.
